~This park opened up last year. It is a great place, lots of sun and shade, playstructure located in park as well.
PleaseMama, Oregon City Mom of 2  Boys (7 & 9)

~A new spray park opened last summer in a nice suburban park in O.C. The park is a few acres w/ mature trees, play structure, picnic areas, tennis/b.ball courts and a ball field. There are bathrooms and lots of shady areas.

~Great fun. Often crowded on weekends.  Warning no public bathroom anywhere near by.
Betsy,  NW Portland Mom of 2

~We Loved this fountain!  Went on a weekday around 5ish and it was not crowded at
all and even got front row parking.  Our 2 year old loved it.. and so did we!
Jen, Beaverton Mom of 2 year old and 6 month old

~A seaside in the city! Jamison Square and fountain is a fun place to go if you live in the city or out.  We (country folk) drove 20 minutes into town on a weekday and the kids thought it was worth it. Shady spots are at a premium.  We pushed a baby stroller right  up to the "surf" and the older kids (8, 6, 5) splashed around and enjoyed the "waves" rushing over the stones.  This would be  fun place to visit when you have out of town guests...a great place to people watch and enjoy a slice of Portland urban life.  Caveat: The rough stones and wading area floor snagged up the kids new swim wear terribly.  Maybe wear old suits?
Kym, Mom of 4
