~Little pixels photo studio in Portland on beaverton Hillsdale Hwy has a great kid's
party idea .  It's a fashion show/photo shoot and they set up red carpet and a whole
little mini-set in your living room while the kids dress up and have a ball !  Kind
of spendy but really , really fun .  You get to keep the pictures too.
June, Beaverton Mom of 2

~I had my daughter's birthday party at Little Pixels studio last month .  It was a
really fun kind of photo shoot where the girls all get to dress up and model down
the runway .  Let me tell you - those girls had so much fun I could not believe what
hams they were in front of the camera and how they turned into little models .  I
would definately recommend it to anyone wanting something different to do for a
party that is fun and that the girls really enjoyed doing.  The photos were
surprisingly good quality too -really clear professional photos . I found Little
Pixels online on your Oregon Moms website- so thank you !  I highly recommend this
party !

A great place to hold a children's birthday party if you're looking for something unique. Indoor pool and party room offer swim time and play time. All we had to bring was the cake and soda pop and they did everything else! Party room was decorated and had toys and a tv to watch movies. Guests received a goodie bag and baloon and birthday child received a free t-shirt. A ton of fun for the kids

~Biggest indoor fast food restaurant play place in Portland.  Inexpensive activity.  My kids love it. Best for kids below 12 years, but parents can follow toddlers through structure if need be. We have had do-it-yourself birthday parties there.  Buy their food, pay to play and use their space for free. Call before hand to reserve table for party...Children must wear socks in structure.   WLMom, West Linn Mom of 2 (ages 8 and 5)

~This is not your average fastfood play place.  The structure is huge and very well
maintained (clean).  Its only $1 and hour and a lot of fun for kids under 6.
Slides, obstacles etc.  My daughter who is three loves it.  Cheap and fun and open
almost all the time.  You can have parties there too--its a great economical savings
compared to many of the more formal party spots (but you do need to reserve ahead of
time).

~Not technically a family fun center, but who says the mall can't be fun?
Experience a bit of Portland history at Jantzen Beach.  The carousel in inside - so
it would be a good rainy day activity.  Only $1.00 per ride!     Kym

~Last week, we celebrated my son's 10th birthday at Tigard Bowl.  We had a group of 10 boys to entertain for two hours, and the party package they offered made it fun and simple.  We started with "Glow Bowling" for one hour, where the lights go out, the bumpers come up, and the music is loud!  The birthday child gets an honorary bowling pin for his guests to sign as a memento.  Nice touch.  After bowling, we walked next door to the Pizza Caboose for a large pizza of our choice and pitcher of soda.  We chose our toppings at the bowling alley so that our pizza was ready when we arrived.  Another nice touch for a group of hungry party-goers.  The cost was only $60.00 for six or less children, which included bowling, shoes, pizza and soda.  Since we had more than six guests, we purchased a double package and had two side-by-side lanes, as well as two pizzas and pitchers of soda.  FYI - the pizza were HUGE, so one would easily feed up to six little guys. My son had a great time and so did his friends.  (And so did my wallet!)

$1.25 per ride in this intimate attraction next to the river and a wonderful park.  Each horse has its own special story of its creation and they are each named, so when you are done visiting, you have lots to talk about on the way home about each horse.  We had a birthday party there and it was amazing what they provided, tokens for rides, balloons, clean room w/ a frig & microwave.  Party or just for fun, this is a great family outing!  Bring your sack lunch and enjoy the big park adjacent!        Erika, Camas Mom of 3

Great for kids a little too old or big for Community Center indoor parks.  Great exercise and endless fun for kids, some adults like it too.  2 boys said that the Clackamas location was more fun but I sure couldn't tell the difference

~Great place for a unique birthday party.  2 hours of musical fun in our beautiful
Old Portland style school house!  The first hour is busy with a teacher led music
class personalized specifically to your child's age and musical interests.  Children
are offered a wide variety of instruments to play and explore throughout the class.
The second hour is time for cake, games, presents, etc.  An inexpensive and totally
