I have lived in Oregon
for 38 years. I've body surfed in the Pacific, bungee jumped in the
Mt. Hood Wilderness, hiked the Cascade Trail, white watered the Rogue. (I even
spent a couple of snowy January nights under the Ross Island Bridge! Brrr.) However, my biggest adventure so far has been raising my
four native Oregonians ages 2, 7, 8 and 10.
I created this website (in 2004) to help Oregon moms find the best our wonderful state
has to offer families. We Oregon mothers are a savvy bunch. We buck
trends. We like to be different. We research, we read reviews,
we make informed decisions about the places we visit, the products we buy,
the services we employ. We are especially picky when it comes to our
kids. That is why this website lets Oregon moms
recommend their own
local favorites for families. I update the site with
current family-friendly events, your
reviews, new ideas for outings and adventures. So, you can be
sure we'll give you honest-to-goodness advice on the best
and worst family oriented businesses and places in Oregon. Having lived in Oregon
awhile, you'll see my opinion here and there. But what makes this site
special is the candid scoop we get from Oregon moms just like you!
