~I was so grateful for all of the help from the maternity
staff at St. V's. They were great with helping when I needed it and letting
me handle things when I wanted to. They made sure I was comfortable at all
times. All around great staffing. I loved how they set up a postpartum
clinical appointment before I was discharged. It helped a great deal.

~I loved the way they treat you there. The atmosphere was very relaxing and
pretty quiet. The nurses are very helpful and always try to give you what you
ask for. The Dr. was cool too and they try to have a sence of humor.

~The staff was awesome. The birthing suites
are very nice and big. I had a c-section though and was moved to a very small
room afterward in which I had to stay for 1 week. My visitors didn't have
anywhere to sit to see my baby.

~I am so glad I had my first child here. They
were wonderful in light that I had major Toxemia, the baby was going to come 6
weeks early and I was petrified. I was stuck in the hospital for a week, and I
loved it that the nurses would come introduce themselves but would laugh when
I couldn't remember their names to save my life! They even brought me the
chocolate shake I had been craving when they brought the good news I was off
liquid restrictions! Jeanne,

~I had a scheduled c-section, and was pretty scared. All of the
nurses made me feel calm, and even laugh. Post-op, everyone made us feel as
though we were the only patients there. Everytime we needed anything they were
right there with a smile. We especially liked the late night dinner menu! I
also have a list of friends who recomend St. V's as well.

~This was the absolute best place. All of my friends mentioned it when I
was in the hospital delivering Karinda. They don't do much "business" on the
maternity ward therefore making it almost a 1 on 1 thing. The nurses are
there for you all hours of the day/night. You can opt to keep your baby in
room or in the nursery. They are very clean and very comfortable.
Jenni, Beaverton Mom of 1 (9 weeks)
~It was awesome!! The rooms were like staying in a nice hotel. Staff was
extremely friendly and went out of there way to help me and my guests.

~I have had all three of my children here. I had one of the nurses through all
three of deliveries. They were very respectful of any wishes I had. With my
second child he was born just two hours before my own birthday and at
Mid-Night all the nurses came in with a little cake a candle and all sang
happy birthday to me. It was a nice memory. very clean, large rooms. Some
hospitals have birthing rooms and then you are transferred to the mother baby
unit. Personally I liked staying in the same room.

~I really
loved this hospital, they were all friendly, and encouraging. I had a
c-section, and i was scared to death in there waiting to have surgery. The
OBGYN was so funny, when we got in there and they turned on the music it was
boring classical, and he said we can't work to this. Then he changed the
channel to oldies. It was so funny when they asked my husband if he wanted to
see his new son, He told them no he could weight. See they didn't finish me up
yet, and he is scared of blood of any sort. When i was recovering i was
craving chocolate pudding, and they didn't have any in the hospital so they
found me some. I was so happy that they went to great lenths to find me
something i really deserved. The nurses were amazing. I would have any of my
future children there.

~It was
clean (almost fancy) well staffed with competent people and a very happy and
safe environment. It had a warm and normal feeling and everyone was very
"normal", not strange or giving off strange vibes...it was very wonderful.

~The hospital was clean,
rooms spacious, the staff was caring, attentive & understanding. I believe
they truly cared about our experience & the quality of care we received. It
made me want to do it all again;)

~I had two babies at WVMC and I really liked the
facility. It is small, but almost every room is large and has a large
whirlpool - big enough for two! The nurses are kind, but once I had the babies
they were a little over involved. They constantly monitor your nursing at
all times of the night and make you document the times and amount of time you
nurse. A little too invasive for me. I was happy to get home.

~The nurses were great
when I gave birth to my son. Since I was a three-time mom, they seemed
to kind of let me do my own thing - which I appreciated. I was really
looking forward to the acclaimed "whirlpool bath", but was disappointed
when they wouldn't let me get the water at least tepid. No fun being in labor
buried in lukewarm water with your husband comatosed in the chair next to you.
