~Dr. Snyder has an quiet, unassuming way about him that my kids seem to really respond to. He is careful to answer all of my questions and at the last visit, he spent at least 5 minutes just letting my 2 preschoolers talk "at" him.  I don't have to wait a long time in the waiting room and the majority of nurses are extremely friendly.

~Dr. McCloskey has been wonderful! She has been extremely patient with my husband and I - answering all of our questions and listening to our concerns.  Sunset Pediatrics is a smaller practice (only 3 doctors), which allows the providers to get to know their patients - something we truly value.     Mom to Lucas, Tigard Mom of 1 (3 mos)

~We love our doctor! Dr. McCloskey is very intelligent, warm/caring, informative, reassuring and her staff is wonderful too! No question is ever regarded as stupid, she trusts a mom's instincts and is simply wonderful with children. Dr. McCloskey and her staff are a dream come true when it comes to children's healthcare.

~Dr. McCloskey cares about each of my children and cares and worries about them like a mom. I never feel like I have to build a case, or bring in proof of what is going on. She is very understanding and is always willing to go above and beyond for the best care for my children, I love her so much and apperciate the extra effort her staff give and her. You can always call and talk to her nurse and it is like chatting with a girlfriend for advice, how priviliged I am to have found this clinic!!!!

~DR. McCLOSKEY IS A KIND, UNDERSTANDING, TOP NOTCH DOC. SHE IS WONDERFUL AND VERY PATIENT WITH MY KIDS, SHE IS NEVER RUSHED AND ANSWERS ALL QUESTIONS, SHE WANTS TO HAVE THE PARENT BE A PART OF THE MEDICAL TEAM AND TAKES ALL INPUT SERIOUSLY. MY KIDS LOVE HER! ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE STAFF IN THE OFFICE SEEMS TO HAVE A FAIRLY HIGH TURN OVER RATE( FRONT DESK)  HER RN KIM IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL.

~Dr. Ericksen is FANTASTIC!  Originally was working with Dr. Snyder - very good,
through physician; very clinical - but moved to Dr. Ericksen after an emergency
visit.  His interactions with my son is awe inspiring!  He actually TALKS to him,
asking him questions and [even more important] patiently awaits his responses!  He
is funny, gentle, and has the amazing capability of turning tears into laughs!  My
son greets him on every visit - "Hi, Dr. Ericksen!" - and tells me as we leave, "Dr.
Ericksen takes care of me."  Thanks doc!

Dr. Meg Hayes is absolutely wonderful. We started out with her being my primary care provider, but our son loves her so much that we have switched him to her as well. ~Metropolitan Pediatrics is an amazing office!  All the doctors there are awesome, (but of course my family is biased, we love our son's doctor, Dr. Chiu).  It's a drive for us from Vancouver, but we believe we are very fortunate to find a Peds. office with four facilities, and all the doctors not only work together, but they work for the same goal: the patients.

~Excellent care!  They are always able to work you in on the same day if your child wakes up sick.  Dr. Dunn spends time with you to make sure all your questions are answered.  The appointments start usually right on time so you aren't waiting in the waiting room too long! :-)         Gresham Mom of 2 (2.5 and 10mos)

~Dr. Prichard and her wonderful nurse practitioner, Sue Putterman, are  really down to earth and easy to talk to. They both tell you like it is and usually anticipate questions you may consider dumb. I would recommend them to anyone!! The added bonus is that they work for  Doernbecher so if you need a referrral to a pediatric specialist, which I did, it is easy and you know you'll get the best doctors in  the state taking care of your precious baby.

~Dr. Pritchard is great.  She is supportive of the child's own ability to heal and she is a great diagnostician.  Her advice is supportive, not overbearing and she really looks and listens to the patients and their mom's!  We found a gem!  She has really done her homework and she cares about her patients and their families.

~Dr. Kocher has been our family's doctor for over 5 years, delivered two of my three children, and gone through numerous illnesses with us. I have never met a doctor so compassionate, so ready to listen, and so patient with all of my concerns - small and big. Her bedside manner is fantastic, while still being thorough and competent. ~Dr. Kocher - She is great! If I have any kind of question with my kids and I call her she returns the call with in two hours or less. even if its on the weekend. I have had her for my self ever since I moved to Oregon about 11 years ago.

~Dr. Schunk is an amazingly gentle, considerate & thorough pediatrician.  He not only cares about the physical health of my children, but also the emotional health as well.  He talks to us about reading, preparing for a new baby, starting school, etc.  He personally calls back when I leave messages and his staff is consistently friendly & helpful.

~Dr. Uphoff is the most knowledgeable doctor I've ever known.  When my son's teachers and school staff were pushing to diagnose him with ADD, he was very supportive of my decisions.  He helped me see ADD from a different perspective.  He offered choices, explained what was happening a ways my, then 7 yr old, son could understand or relate to.  If I lived in Portland, he would always be my first choice when seeking care for my children.        Vancouver Mom of 3, (ages 12, 2, & 2 months)

~We found Dr. Purcell after moving to Beaverton 5 years ago.  We went through 2 other pediatricians before landing with her.  She is great with all 4 of our kids and really remembers them and us and our kids love her.  The office staff is good and we usually don't have to wait too long, and the advice nurses are really good about getting back to you quickly.  When we were out of town and needed medical advice, I was able to call and speak with someone right away.  I love this practice and Dr. Purcell in particular.        Sherri, Beaverton Mom of 4

Dr. Al-Mulla is the GREATEST! He is very knowledgeable and personable (which is hard to find!). He came right to the hospital after my daughter was born which was wonderful.
