a great indoor play area and lots of games for all ages... outside there are go
karts, miniature golf, bumper boats and batting cages.. not to mention pizza and
those old time Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons :) My kids always have a blast!

~Experience a bit of Portland history at Jantzen Beach. The carousel in
actually inside - so it might be a good rainy day activity. Only $1.00

~People who have gone seem to love this. A unique place for birthday
parties and other events. Check their calendar for other interesting activities!
Only $1.25 per ride. Kym
~$1.25 per ride in this intimate attraction next to the river and a
wonderful park. Each horse has its own special story of its creation and they
are each named, so when you are done visiting, you have lots to talk about on
the way home about each horse. We had a birthday party there and it was amazing
what they provided, tokens for rides, balloons, clean room w/ a frig &
microwave. Party or just for fun, this is a great family outing! Bring your
sack lunch and enjoy the big park adjacent!

~My kids always love the slide. I like the slide b/c it is the only free ride!
Some of the displays (giant witches, etc.) can be scary for very young kids and
the paths are narrow for strollers. Lots of uphill walking. Some fun rides
(extra cost). It is worth at least a visit when your kids are young.
Kym, Mom of 3
~Good for little kids mostly, but
there are SOME rides for older kids but they ARE very expensive. Good food and
nice displays. Some of the attractions are bumper cars, water slides, Alice and
wonderland maze, a roller coaster, and a strange ride where you sit in a boat
with a laser gun and shoot the evil things in the cave (scary for childen 5 or
under). Plus recently added game where you find treasures in the sand and you
get to keep them.

~Lots of things to do and a fun place for older kids, but several rides for
little ones, too. Check the website in May for Summer discount days - you
can save a bundle on rides, especially midweek. Kym, Mom of

~We visited Oaks Park Amusement Park during their preschool morning where
only the little kiddie rides and train were operating. It's a fun way to
introduce young children to the rides when the park isn't so crowded with
all-aged children. Certain summer mornings are designated for the preschool age
group. The preschool time ends with storytime and milk & cookies.

~We love the twice a month
homeschoolers' mornings here! The first and third Mondays from 10am-12pm. There
are a ton of kids! They can do in-line or traditional roller skating. The snack
bar is closed and the video games turned off, so that is no pressure from the
kids! The cost is $4 for each skater.
Suzanne, Tigard Mom of 3 (12, 8, 3)
~My kids love this! It's Tuesdays
and Wednesdays, October to June from 10-11:30am. It's a great chance to let
the little ones try skating. They tighten up the skates if you ask. Moms
can be in shoes or skates. Strollers welcome on rink floor. Short lesson on
skating basics during session. Then, to top it all off, they give the kids
cookies and milk at the end. Great activity for rainy days!

rides, bumper boats, mini-golf, waterslides, climbing wall, go-karts, roller
coaster and more. Great fun for older kids and thrill seeking adults.
